 Maurice
is a member of the Litigation Team. He has advocacy experience at
the levels of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal in matters concerning
contractual disputes, personal injury, property disputes, and motor
vehicle negligence.
He has represented parties in matrimonial disputes, especially relating to property. In addition Maurice has a growing commercial-litigation practice.
Maurice has been paying particular attention to interlocutory and summary judgment applications to bring matters to an expeditious conclusion.
He has successfully applied for enforcement orders relating to injunctions, sale of land and breach of copyright. Apart from litigation, Maurice has been involved in arbitration matters and in settlement negotiations on insurance claims.
Maurice has lectured at the former College of Arts, Science and Technology (now University of Technology) and is a former external examiner for that institution.
