 Tony
is the firm's Manager Partner and is a member of the Commercial
Department.
He is, in addition to being an attorney-at-law, a barrister of the United Kingdom.
He has been a permanent resident of Jamaica since 1975 and is a Jamaican citizen.
Before entering into private practice, Tony gained valuable and extensive commercial experience in corporate Jamaica as well as in the United Kingdom.
He was Legal Controller of Caribbean Cement Co. Ltd. between 1975 and 1977, Legal Counsel for Grenada Television in the UK (1977-78) and General Legal Counsel and Director of T. Geddes Grant (Jamaica) Ltd., (now part of the Neal & Massy Group) between 1978 and 1985. As a Director of T. Geddes Grant he had overall responsibility for and supervision of the Group's financial, manufacturing, tourism and service companies.
In his practice, he has been involved in the establishment and formation of numerous corporations and corporate acquisitions and mergers. He advises local and overseas clients regularly on all aspects of corporate issues.
Currently, Tony is a Director of Colgate Palmolive (Jamaica) Ltd., Goodyear Jamaica Ltd., Comtech Ltd., The Jamaica Biscuit Company Ltd., Pan-Caribbean Merchant Bank Ltd., Fleetwood (Jamaica) Ltd., Century Eslon (Jamaica) Ltd., and is the President of the American Chamber of Commerce of Jamaica (AMCHAM). He is also a member of several charitable and non-governmental organizations, including the Salvation Army Advisory Board of which he is Chairman.
