Camille is a Partner in the Litigation Department of the firm. She serves primarily as an instructing Attorney on our Litigation Team and also has experience as an advocate at various levels/tiers of our judicial system, including the Court of Appeal. Her practice involves a myriad of matters including debt collection, motor vehicle negligence and personal injury. Camille’s research skills and keen attention to detail have served to achieve preparation of the level required to ensure the best possible outcome for matters before the Court and her knowledge and experience have enabled her to successfully contest matters which touch and concern the interpretation of the new Civil Procedure Rules and Court of Appeal Rules. She has a wealth of extensive experience in insurance matters and her areas of practice in this regard include personal injury matters as well as issues of policy drafting and interpretation, and statutory interpretation. This has allowed her to participate successfully in matters treating with a number of the novel and complex issues arising in these areas, particularly as have arisen under the popularly/regularly invoked provisions of the Motor Vehicle Insurance (Third Party Risks) Act. Camille is developing her practice to include Conveyancing and Probate Litigation matters and is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association (JAMBAR).
